Promptus Communications and Genesys Conferencing form strategic alliance to develop the multimedia conferencing market in Australia and Asia Pacific
Promptus Communications, an Australia-based company providing conferencing, high-speed access and security solutions to the Asia Pacific market, today announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Genesys Conferencing, a global multimedia conferencing leader, to deliver audio and Web conferencing services to its corporate and enterprise customer base.
The service, Promptus Meeting Centre, has been specifically tailored by Genesys and Promptus to provide a fully automated, interactive and integrated audio and Web meeting facility for business users, accessed via a secure Promptus account card or Web-based interface. This secure, easy-to-use voice and Web conference solution is particularly suitable for organizations with a distributed structure or geographically dispersed customers or regular business travellers. Callers can join a meeting quickly and easily, using any phone for the audio conference and a standard Internet connection for the Web conference. The service can be employed for a wide range of meetings, including e-training and continuing education, project reviews, management updates, client presentations and reviews, product updates and sales team meetings.
